Direct Expansion Solutions (DXS)

Strategy

Direct Expansion Solutions (DXS) provides energy-efficient, technologically advanced commercial air conditioning and heating systems called variable refrigerant flow (VRF). Although VRF technology is well established in large markets in Asia and Europe where densely populated markets appreciate a space-saving efficient HVAC system, it is still relatively new to North American engineers and builders. DXS’ owners approached Ward to help establish the company as the industry leader in VRF technology by creating a new website. Ward needed to create a website that showcased DXS’ expertise in VRF HVAC systems without touting the owners’ success in their sister company. Ward recommended DXS build a website that established the company as a stand-alone entity and demonstrated its expertise in VRF technology throughout the product life with installations in multiple markets.

Results

By demonstrating the breadth of the client’s experience in multiple markets, Ward helped DXS successfully establish itself as a stand-alone company. DXS reported qualified leads from the site within 90 days, and sales people were able to use the site to provide the permission-to-believe their prospects needed. DXS sales are increasing at a steady clip, allowing the site to be updated with even more case studies to demonstrate market acceptance in North America.
